helping with our advent calendars
|
Mom wanted me to write the family holiday letter but I think that a holiday blog recapping the year will work just as well. She'll have to figure out how to get it to all our friends. Supposedly Mom is smarter than I am.
This year we lost Granny, a wonderful woman who filled our lives with wisdom and love. Although we miss her, she is in a better place and probably petting all the dogs who will be waiting for us.
The granddaughters are really growing up...Elizabeth started high school at Seattle Prep this year. Dad and his dad went there as well. Maddie is in her last year of elementary school and did a project on family history this year. Both Tori and Cathy are in 2nd grade and going gangbusters, whatever that means. Mom told me they are really starting to read and learn. Annie is not a baby anymore! She is in kindergarten and one of the teacher's favorite kids.

| our new house |
This year held a big change for us. We moved! Mom and Dad had lived in the same house for 38 years so it really was a big change for them, but not so much for me. We are still getting used to remembering where we put things. Can't remember if I told you or not, but I tumbled into the pond a few days ago! Agile as I am I climbed right out. I guess they are doing a lot of "clean-up" work on the old house so it can be sold. There used to be kennels with concrete floors in the backyard but...no longer. Dad, Pat, and Trevor spent one Sunday after Thanksgiving jackhammering the concrete. It was the same day Mom and I went to the Porti Holiday Party. I think that was a better thing to do.

| Happy Holidays |
If you read any of my blogs, you will know that we have been playing around with tracking. This next year we will get serious, or so Mom says, and take a class in Bow. Maybe next year will bring a TD.
We hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with many blessings.
Anybody want to buy a house?
Happy Holidays,
Juno and Monty
